"Meeters-and-greeters are not allowed inside, to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Only airport workers and passengers with a same-day ticket are allowed inside the airport. That’s why we ask meeters-and-greeters to stay outside in the garage or on the curb to say their hellos and goodbyes. When it is time to pick up your passenger, remember that you can meet them on the Arrival or Departure level.

If you’re picking up an arriving traveller or dropping someone off for a departure, we have a variety of parking options for you. Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, meeters-and-greeters are not allowed inside the airport. You should remain with your vehicle at all times.

Specifically for those who are picking up an arriving passenger, wait either in the terminal garage or the cell phone waiting area. International arrivals need from 1-3 hours to complete customs and retrieve their luggage, so plan to arrive 1-3 hours after the scheduled landing time.

Express Pass free limited parking – Recommended
Express Pass allows you to park in our covered garages in Terminals 1 and 3 for up to 18 minutes for free when picking up or dropping off passengers. Express Pass is a safe, contactless parking option and is a free alternative to waiting curbside at our terminals. If you choose the Express Pass option, please ensure you communicate your parking level and parking space to your arriving party. Book your free Express Pass.

(Note that Express Pass and Express Park are two different things)

Short-term parking
Short-term parking is available at Terminal 1 Express Park and is the best option for stays of 3 hours or less. Short-term parking is also available at Terminal 3 Daily Park. Both locations are conveniently located next to the terminals. This is a paid parking product using the posted rates.

You can park for up to 18 minutes free of charge in our covered garages in Terminals 1 and 3 with the Express Pass. Reserve a pass online. For longer visits, choose the Daily Park lot. For longer visits, choose the Daily Park lot.

Cell phone waiting area
If picking up a passenger, use the free Cell Phone Waiting Area to park your car and wait until your passenger contacts you after disembarking and picking up their luggage. Arrange a place to meet on the arrivals curb outside, then drive to meet them when they are ready.

It is free to use for up to 45 minutes, but you must turn off your vehicle and stay with it at all times.

1-minute pick-ups or drop-offs curbside at Terminals 1 and 3
For 1-minute pick-ups or drop-offs, you may stop briefly outside the Arrivals or Departures areas at either terminal. Note that waiting is not allowed here or on the roads leading to both terminals. The curb is currently operating at a limited capacity and idling vehicles are monitored 24/7.

Safety hazards of roadside parking

Please keep our roads safe by choosing the free Pearson Cell Phone Waiting Area or convenient short-term parking at one of our terminals instead of illegally parking on the terminal roadsides. If you park on the roadsides leading into the terminals, a photo will be taken of your licence plate and a $75 payment notice will be sent to your home address. If you’ve received a payment notice for parking on the roadside in the mail and have questions about payment, please contact 1-866-870-9113 or gtaa@singlepointgi.com.

Designated accessible drop-off locations
Accessible drop-off locations are available at the Departures Level of each terminal and offer a variety of features to assist individuals travelling with wheelchairs and mobility aids".
